Gardai are appealing for witnesses to a serious crash that happened near Boyle today, in which a pensioner was seriously injured.
A car and a Jeep crashed on the N4 at Ardcarne at around 1.20pm.
Two people were rushed to Sligo University Hospital - a man in his 70s, who was seriously injured, and a woman in his 40s, whose injuries were not life-threatening.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
A spokesman added: "Any road users or pedestrians who were in the area at the time between 1pm and 1.30pm and have camera footage (including dash-cam) are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
