Gardai in Roscommon are appealing for information after a series of burglaries in the county.
Thieves entered a number of houses in the Roscommon town and south Roscommon areas over the weekend.
The first incident occurred on Friday night between 8 and 11 o'clock in Gallowstown, Roscommon town.
Thieves broke into a house and made away with small amounts of property.
Gardai are asking anyone who may have been in the area at the time or travelling on the link road between the Boyle and Castlerea roads and may have dashcam footage to contact them.
Following that, on Saturday, in Curry, Brideswell, a house was broken into between 3pm and 8 o'clock in the evening.
A further burglary took place last night in the Glenview estate in Roscommon town, between 7 and 10pm.
Gardai in Roscommon are asking anyone who was in these areas at these times and may have seen persons or a vehicle unknown or acting suspiciously to come forward to Roscommon garda station on 090 6638300.
They are also asking that people call into vulnerable neighbours to check that they are okay.
A special appeal is also being made to those shopping early for Christmas not to put any purchases in full view, to keep them safely away from windows and entrances.
