Gardaí are issuing a witness appeal over a series of burglaries in Roscommon over the weekend. A total of five house burglaries were reported to Gardaí in the area of Boyle on Friday and Saturday. Gardaí have revealed that there was an attempt to steal valuable objects from the homes in question, but that no items were declared stolen.
Meanwhile, three house burglaries were signalled to Gardaí in the area of Ballaghaderreen on Friday. Gardaí reported that doors were seen to have been forced in the attempted burglaries. No valuable items were taken from the scene. No arrests have yet been made, and Gardaí urge witnesses with any information to come forward.
