Gardaí in Athlone are appealing for witnesses after a significant sum of money was stolen from a home in the town.
A residence in St Patrick's Terrace was broken into on Wednesday afternoon, the 14th of June.
Gardaí subsequently arrested a woman, aged in her 30s , in connection with this incident,

She was later released and a file set to be prepared for the DPP.
Gardaí are now appealing to anyone who was in the Saint Patrick's Terrace area between 12.10pm and 12.30pm on Wednesday the 14th who noticed anything unusual to come forward.
Anyone with dashcam footage of the area on the day in question is also asked to contact Athlone Garda Station or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800666111.
