Gardai have raided their second cannabis growhouse in west Roscommon in consecutive days, seizing €180,000 of the drug today.
It means almost €900,000 worth of the drug has been found in the area in just over 24 hours, in separate incidents.
The latest seizure was in Fairymount this afternoon.
It was part of an operation, called Operation Tara, which is targeting suspected growhouses.
A Garda spokesman said: "Shortly after 5pm today, gardai attached to the Mayo Roscommon Division Drugs Unit searched a property in Fairymount.
"During the course of the search a large scale growhouse was located with cannabis plants at various stages of growth.
"Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of €180,000 were seized by investigating gardaí.
"The drugs are now subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland.
"Investigations are ongoing."
Yesterday afternoon, in a separate incident, gardai found around €700,000 worth of cannabis at a house in Loughglynn, only three or four miles from Fairymount.
Three men were arrested on suspicion of drug-trafficking.
