Gardaí say death of a baby in Co. Longford not being treated as suspicious

The death of a baby in Abbeylara, Co. Longford is not being treated as suspicious. Gardaí say the deceased baby was removed to the mortuary at Crumlin Children's Hospital where a post-mortem examination was carried out by the State Pathologist.

They also say the focus of An Garda Síochána now is the preparation of a file for the Coroner's Court only.
