Gardaí have seized almost 40,000 euro worth of suspected cannabis plants in a house in Edgeworthstown.
Members of the Longford Roscommon Divisional Drugs unit, with assistance from local gardai searched a property in the town just after 1:30pm this afternoon and found a number of plants in various stages of growth.
The find is estimated to be worth €37,000.

The plants will now be sent for forensic analysis.
One man was arrested and is currently detained at Longford Garda Station.
