The fire was reported at approximately 8pm.

The 15 year old was stopped by Gardaí following a call from a member of the public.

Emergency services attended the scene immediately and a thorough search was conducted. 

Gardai and the fire service were called to the scene shortly after the call was received.

A property at Kilnacreevy was broken into and ransacked during the incident on Friday, December 13th.

Motorist's are being urged to take alternative routes with the incident expected to affect traffic over the next hour.

A number of vehicles were damaged after they were set on fire at a garage premises at 2am on Sunday, December 8th.

Gardaí arrested a man in the aftermath of the incident and has since been charged.
