Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them

He was last seen on Saturday the 16th September in the town and is thought to have travelled to Dublin.

The search was conducted by members of the Athlone Detective Unit, Westmeath Divisional Drug unit and the Westmeath Roads Policing Unit.
