Dympna Daly Finn, who works as an auxiliary nurse in Sligo University Hospital, says travelling is part of the learning process for young people. The Arigna woman defended her party's performance on health but said more services must be brought to Roscommon University Hospital.

Daly Finn is running alongside Ballinasloe Senator Aisling Dolan as part of Fine Gael's two candidate strategy in the constituency. Speaking as part of the Let's Talk election debate series, she says many young healthcare workers return to local facilities after travelling:
