A woman who was illegally adopted says the government's apology yesterday was 'totally fruitless'.
It's after the Children's Minister, Roderic O'Gorman, formally said sorry for the 'deep hurt' and 'anguish'.
He was apologising in the Seanad to the thousands of people affected by illegal birth registrations.

Dr Emer Quirke was illegally adopted from Sean Ross Abbey in Roscrea, Co Tipperary - she says apologies mean nothing at this stage.
