The Government are out of time and must be held to account over their failure to support struggling families.
That's according to Longford/Westmeath TD Sorcha Clarke who says Sinn Fein will challenge Independents not to support the current government in a vote of no confidence next week.
The local deputy believes the coalition have blustered their way through the last number of months and feels cost relieving measures introduced to date don't go far enough.
Speaking on the Joe Finnegan Show Deputy Clarke stated the public's concerns haven't been addressed and it the responsibility of the opposition to change that.
''The Government are out of ideas. They are failing workers and families the length and breath of this country, they have had an opportunity, we have laid out for them a way that they can address specifically the cost of living over the last number of months and not only have they stuck their heads in the sand on various different occasions, but they have pushed through measures that the public have told them don't go far enough that the public has told them fail to address their greatest concerns.''
