A local MEP is slamming the government for a lack of consultation with Leitrim village residents over a possible asylum-seeker centre.
The Department of Integration has been offered the Leitrim Marina Hotel for international-protection applicants.
It’s considering the proposal, but residents have expressed concerns over the plan.
Over 100 people attended a public meeting last night.
