A Shannonside Northern Sound GP says there will be problems ahead if people do not adhere to the advice to only meet people from another household in an outdoor public setting.
After more than three months in Level 5 restrictions, today marks a turning point with all students are now back in the classroom.
People can now travel anywhere within their own county or 20 kilometres from their home and more construction projects area allowed.
Two households can also meet outdoors but not in private gardens.
Dr Greg Kelly says the research shows that the transmission of Covid 19 is more prevalent when people congregate inside and that option is not available in public spaces.
