Gardaí have not ruled out foul play and are continuing their calls for witness statements and dash cam footage from the night in question.

Grafters Hair Company is one the businesses badly affected, and salon owner Pauline Belton is devastated by the damage done.

Gardaí said the blaze broke out at a local business at Grafton Court in the town shortly before 1:30 AM.

The scene is currently preserved for forensic and technical examination.

The event has been organised with the support of Creative Ireland and will take place across the week in Grafton Court close to the Longford Shopping Centre.
