A new development at a Leitrim GAA club have been given the green light by county planners.
Gortletteragh GAA Club Grounds in Mohill applied to Leitrim County Council to commence a major upgrade.
The application proposed to erect a fully serviced two-storey extension to the front of the existing community centre to form a new entrance and meeting rooms, as well as a new single storey extension to the side of the building to form new toilet facilities and a temporary gym.
In addition, the works would see the development of four new changing rooms at ground floor and a gym with associated changing rooms on the first floor.
The submission also includes the erection of a new covered spectator stand on the club's pitch, new floodlighting along the existing walking tracks, new carparking and all ancillary works.
The application was granted by county planners with 11 conditions attached.
