The Taxis for Ireland Coalition claims the lack of taxis across the country is having a negative impact on the tourism and hospitality sector. The group includes the Restaurants Association of Ireland, the VFI, the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation as well as Uber.
They are calling on the Government to acknowledge and address what they say is extreme shortage of taxis in cities, towns and rural areas.
