"He has my number!"- Michael Fitzmaurice on Government formation talks

Independent Ireland's Michael Fitzmaurice says he won't be making the phone calls when it comes to Government formation.

The Roscommon-Galway TD topped the poll in the constituency and was elected on the first count.

A return to a Fianna Fáil- Fine Gael Government is likely. However, the possibility Independent's playing a part can't be ruled out.

When asked by Joe Finnegan if'd be making a phone call to a certain party leader following his election, Fitzmaurice said he'd have to be approached first.
