The head of the HSE has praised Leitrim people for their efforts in combating the spread of Covid 19.
The county has one of the lowest rates of Coronavirus in the country, with just 85 cases confirmed in since the pandemic began in March.
Paul Reid lives in Carrick-on-Shannon and he feels that Leitrim has set the example for the rest of the country in terms of social distancing, as well as good hand hygiene which has prevented further spread of the virus.
