Health services in Sligo and Leitrim are advising on the importance of practising social distancing and basic hygiene regulations in light of a recent increase in Covid cases in the counties.
While Leitrim has continued to have very low numbers up until recently, cases have increased from none, or a couple, to up to 20 a day in the last fortnight.
With the Bank Holiday weekend approaching people in Leitrim are being encouraged not to congregate in large numbers and to be mindful of the basic precautions they've been using over the past year and a half.
