The Health Minister has indicated the number of guests at weddings will increase from 50 to 100 next month.
As a result, less people turned out for a protest in Dublin calling for clarity on wedding receptions.
Bride to be Orlaith says planning for her big day has been stressful with a lack of clarity on how many can attend.
She was one of a small number of protestors who gathered outside the Department of Health this afternoon calling for clarity on how many people can go to a wedding from next month.
A much larger protest was anticipated but this dwindled because the brides either had cold feet or because the Health Minister indicated the numbers will actually increase to 100 next month.
Groom to be Davey hopes this proves to be the case.
An announcement on weddings is expected shortly while restrictions are also set to change for baptisms with people expected to be allowed to attend the church part only.
