Sligo University Hospital has the second-highest number of people waiting on trolleys in its emergency department today. The hospital with the highest number is University Hospital Limerick where 53 people are waiting to be admitted.
There are 28 people on trolleys in the emergency department at Sligo hospital today with another 8 on trolleys on wards or elsewhere in the building. Cavan Hospital has 3 people waiting today, there are 5 in Mullingar and 9 in Tullamore according to the INMO figures released today.
Four people are waiting to be admitted to Portiuncula hospital today and there are none waiting at Our Lady of Lourdes in Drogheda.
