The landmark post office building in Roscommon Town will be put on the market once it ceases operations later this week.
Roscommon Post Office will close its doors for the final time this Friday before it relocates to a commercial premises in the town.
The post office first opened in 1912 at what is now a landmark building in the town.
The service will move to Fleming's SuperValu on Main Street from March 18th.
An Post confirmed this week that the old post office building would be put up for sale but that it's exploring options for its best future use.
