A Hollywood actor attended a local protest in solidarity with the people of Palestine.
Actor Chris O'Dowd was among those who joined in the Boyle Palestine Solidarity Group's protest in Boyle on Friday.
In attendance was also Chris O'Dowd's wife, Dawn O'Porter, who is a writer, director, and television presenter.
The weekly demonstrations are part of the group's "Bridgils," where locals advocate for a ceasefire in Gaza on the bridge over the N4.
The couple visited Boyle this week as part of its arts festival, but remained in the town to show their support for the local campaign.
The protests take place on the bridge every Friday evening from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
