Delays in the publishing of a report on the death of a Longford woman will be the subject of a meeting between senior government officials and her family members in the coming weeks. Bryonny Sainsbury was injured in an incident on the 26th of August in 2021 and subsequently passed away days later in Beaumont Hospital. See was initially taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar and spent two days there before her transfer to Beaumont Hospital. Serious failings were identified at the Midlands Hospital in relation to her treatment, with the Coroner's Court issuing a ruling of Medical Misadventure in relation to her death.

Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar and the HSE confirmed a review into Bryonny's treatment would be held and published in the short term. The family say they've received letter after letter delaying the report and, a year on from the initial publication date, are demanding that the HSE release the information. Local Fianna Fail TD Joe Flaherty has been raising the issue in the Dail and has previously received the support of Tanaiste Micheal Martin in calling for the publication of the report. He told Shannonside FM News that he is confident a meeting between Government officials and Bryonny's parents, Allison and Chris, will be held soon:
