It's hoped a new five screen cinema in Ballinasloe will be open in May of this year.
Irish entertainment group Omniplex announced plans in late 2021 to build the facility on an empty site on the Harbour road.
The auditorium will be complete with 16-metre-wide screens, Luxury Rocker Seats and Double Sofa-Beds.

It's part of an overall €11 million investment by the group which will see the creation of 100 construction jobs and a further 65 full and part time positions when it becomes operational.
In a recent social media post director of the cinema group Mark Anderson stated the project was coming along nicely and recruitment was now underway.
