It's hoped a planned remote working hub for Granard will open it's door later this year.
The development would see the former Ulster Bank premises in the town transformed into a remote working facility complete with high speed internet access, hot desks, conference facilities and other business supports.
The plans are backed by local man and business owner Paul Belton, who has applied to Longford County Council for change of use permission for the premises.
County planners are due to make their decision on the project next month.
