There's a general welcome in the hospitality sector in the Shannonside region for the guidelines on re-opening of dining.
Fáilte Ireland has announced that 6 people will be allowed at a table once indoor and outdoor dining resumes.
However, children aged 12 and under are exempt, and when they are included, there can be a maximum of 15 people at one table.
Customers will have to leave a pub or restaurant by 11.30pm.
Where tables are 1 metre or less apart, indoors, there will be a time limit of 105 minutes and there should be no live or loud music.
Speaking on Let's Talk today, President of the Irish Hotels Federation, Elena Fitzgerald Kane says while clarity is welcome, she's hoping it is only a start.
