The price of a home in Roscommon and Leitrim has increased by over €20,000 over the past year. There has been a smaller increase in Longford. These new figures are in MyHome's Property Price Report for the last three months of 2024.
The median asking price for a home in Co Roscommon is €190,000, €23,000 higher than 12 months earlier. There are similar figures for Co Leitrim. The median asking price for a home in the county is just under €190,000, an increase of almost €21,000 in a year. But the market is starting to stabilise in Co Longford. The median asking price now stands at €149,000 up €4,000 on a year earlier but the exact same as in the third quarter of 2024. The number of properties for sale decreased in all three Shannonside counties in the last three months of last year.
