Faughnan Construction Ltd are seeking to demolish a home at Aghadegnan close to the Red Cow Roundabout.

Included in the application is the proposed development of a creche building for 60 children.

Andrews Construction Ltd had sought the construction of 245 residential units and supporting infrastructure as part of the development.

The works would also consist of the development of a green open space, as well as boundary fences and walls.

The houses will be part of ongoing development by Glenman Corporation Ltd.

An Bord Pleanala has given the go ahead for 207 units at the Westmeath site.

Around 100 new homes will be developed by applicant John McCarthy at Bloomfield Park in Edgeworthstown.

The houses would consist of 8 two bed terraced houses and 2 three bed semi-detached houses.
