The HSE has apologised in relation to the death of a woman and her newborn child in a freak tragedy in Cork.
Marie Downey was found dead on the floor of her room in Cork University Maternity Hospital in March 2019.
It's believed she suffered a seizure, and her son was found partially trapped underneath her and died later.

An apology was issued by the HSE and the hospital at their inquest today.
