Several people have reported receiving calls in the Roscommon-Galway area in the last three days from people claiming to be from the HSE. It's understood the callers are claiming that they need bank and personal details as a result of the recent HSE cyber attack.
Health officials and Gardai are warning people that the HSE never ask for personal bank or financial details over the phone and that they should report any scam calls immediately.
