Students in Athlone have joined a nationwide protest over measures in last month's Budget.
A nationwide protest took place at 11minutes past 11 today at third level campuses across the country, including at TUS.

The USI claims that Budget 2023 has failed to support students in the cost-of-living crisis -
Hannah Brennan is Vice President for Border, Midlands & Western Region of USI and was in Athlone today.
She told Shannonside FM there was a strong turnout in Athlone
"We're absolutely delighted with the crowd that came out today, there's hundreds and hundreds. We estimate that a thousand students walked out of their classes, walked out of their college, and stood, rallied, and chanted with us".
