The IDA is being strongly criticised for only carrying out one site visit to Co Leitrim last year. The purpose of these visits is to try to bring more foreign-direct investment to an area.
The body carried out just seven visits to Co Roscommon last year and just two to Co Longford. Drumshanbo councillor Brendan Barry, from Sinn Fein, says he's disappointed by the number of visits to Leitrim:
