Independent Ireland will announce their candidates to contest the next General Election in the Shannonside Region from tomorrow. The newly founded political party was formed earlier this year by Deputies Michael Collins and Richard O'Donoghue, with Roscommon Galway TD Michael Fitzmaurice joining them soon after. The group saw over 20 councillors elected in June's election, including Roscommon's Nigel Dineen.
The Party will hold their inaugural Think In in Raheen Co Limerick tomorrow afternoon. An extensive election manifesto will be unveiled at the event, outlining the parties strategic policies on healthcare, housing, cost of living and immigration.
