Inland Fisheries seek permission to build new base in Roscommon

Roscommon planners will decide on the application in October.

Inland Fisheries Ireland is seeking to construct a new fisheries base in Roscommon. Plans submitted to Roscommon County Council are seeking the construction of a single storey building at Lackan Townland in Portrunny. The building would contain offices, meeting rooms, a canteen and changing facilities. Also included in the plans are storage facilities for boats and associated equipment, new vehicular access and security fencing.

Inland Fisheries Ireland have included plans for sustainable infrastructure such as a ground mounted solar array and rainwater harvesting system. Roscommon planners will decide on the application in October.
