Investigations are ongoing into an attempted car-jacking in County Leitrim last Friday. Gardaí have confirmed they're investigating the incident which occurred at a service station on the Boyle Road in Carrick-on-Shannon. They say there was an attempted unlawful taking of a vehicle following a collision between two cars at approximately 5.40 am. No injuries were reported and no arrests have yet been made following the incident.
