Ireland West Airport say that 2024 has been their busiest year to date.
Over 800,000 passengers have passed through the regional airport this year with officials anticipating 2025 to be just as busy.
Meanwhile from next June, Emerald Airlines will operate a service to Groningen every Saturday for 13 weeks.
