Irish citizens in Lebanon urged to leave the country

It comes as Hezbollah and Hamas called for revenge against Israel following deadly strikes in both Beirut and Tehran last week.

Irish citizens in Lebanon are being strongly urged to leave the country amid fears of escalating violence in the region.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is encouraging more than 100 Irish nationals it's in contact with there to reassess their need to remain in the country.

It comes as Hezbollah and Hamas called for revenge against Israel following deadly strikes in both Beirut and Tehran last week.
