A miniature donkey from the west of Ireland was mentioned in two Golden Globes acceptance speeches last night.
Jenny the Donkey, who featured in The Banshees of Inisherin, was mentioned by Colin Farrell, as well as the film's writer-director, Martin McDonagh.
The film was the big winner at the ceremony in Beverly Hills last night, taking home three awards.
Rita Maloney, who's the lead co-ordinator of Fircroft Animal Actors in Co. Kildare, trained and looked after Jenny the Donkey before and during filming.
She says Jenny was very young and had never worked with people before the film.
