The Irish Red Cross is calling on people across the Shannonside Northern Sound to help integrate arriving Ukrainian refugees.
The aid agency is currently coordinating with the Irish Government to house refugees fleeing the conflict.
100s of people across the region have offered spare rooms and vacant homes to arriving Ukrainians.
The charity is urging those unable to offer accommodation but who want to help, to volunteer with the organisation's Community Sponsorship Programme.
The project see's committees formed in towns and villages in order to guide newly settled refugees towards important services and help with general integration.
