Irish Water has confirmed that the boil water notice is still in place on the Glenamaddy Public Water Supply.
The notice was issued last week due to issues with the ultraviolet disinfection process.
Around 800 households, farms and businesses in the area are affected by the boil water notice and Irish Water is asking them to continue to abide by the recommendation until the notice is lifted.
Irish Water is also advising customers that they will notice an increased levels of chlorine in the supply as work continues to resolve the issue.
