Over two hundred complaints have been made to Irish water from customers in the Shannonside region in the last 18 months.
Issues with billing as well as an absence of water are the most common complaints lodged with the utility.
A total of 82 complaints were made by Roscommon residents between January of last year and March of 2021 - including 29 regarding billing, 11 for no water as well as three linked to issues of a faulty metre.
In Leitrim, a total of 73 complaints were lodged with Irish water from unhappy customers - with leakage topping the list with 15 complaints made in the last year-and-a-half as well as 12 issues around blockages brought to the attention of Irish Water
Water supply issues dominated the complaints lodged by Longford residents - out of a total of 61 issues raised, 20% were linked to no supply - and 9 complaints about poor water were made to Irish water as well as one related to mal-odour.
