Irish Wheelchair Association condemns inaccessible polling stations

The Irish Wheelchair Association's National Advocacy Manager has described the situation as 'an absolute disgrace'.

Several polling stations across the country continue to be inaccessible, with the Irish Wheelchair Association condemning the issue.

Voters in parts of the Roscommon-Galway constituency have been notified of a number of inaccessible polling stations.

Those at Clooncagh National School, Kingsland National School and Lecarrow Community National School cannot be used by wheelchair users.

Returning officer Olivia Bushell says affected voters will be accommodated at accessible polling stations nearby.
