According to the association, individuals who are not affiliated with the IWA have been spotted with clipboards and selling lines.

The public is urged to remain vigilant as a number of bogus charity collectors have been detected locally.
The Irish Wheelchair Association has issued the warning for the areas of Carrick-on-Shannon, Athlone, and Mullingar.
