A Ballaghaderreen councillor says traders from the Market Square area are prepared to take a Judicial Review regarding plans to redesign the town's streetscape.
The Sinn Fein councillor says despite the concerns expressed by him and other traders it appears that the council is not listening, and is pressing on with plans to remove over 40 car parking spaces from the town centre as part of the Public Realm Enhancement Project.
A Part 8 notice has been published in recent days and people have until the 6th of September to make submissions on the plans.
Councillor Mulligan, who has a shop on the Square says if so many car parking spaces are taken out of the town centre it will have a very detrimental effect, and there will be no choice but to take a Judicial Review.
