A Junior Health Minister insists a long-promised rehab unit is still planned for Roscommon Hospital. In 2015, almost 8 million euro was approved for the unit to be built at the back of the hospital.
But local Fianna Fáil TD Martin Daly says it hasn't materialised and was left out of the HSE capital plan last year. But Junior Health Minister Kieran O'Donnell says the 20-bed unit is back on the agenda:
