An Bord Pleanála did not reverse any decision made by Leitrim County planners in 2021 according to a new report.
1,004 planning applications were decided on by local authorities in the Shannonside Region in 2021, with just 3.8 percent of those appealed to the higher planning authorities.
According to the Office of the Planning Regulator, out of a total of 213 completed planning applications in Leitrim, 14 were brought before the national planning board, with officials upholding all decisions made.
18 decisions were challenged in Roscommon in 2021, with An Bord Pleanála reversing half of those.
While just over 2 percent of decisions made by Longford planners in the same year were brought further with close to half of those rulings also reversed.
Nationally 6.7 percent of all planning decisions were brought to the attention of An Bord Pleanála in 2021 with a third of those appeals successful.
