A remembrance ceremony will take place in Longford this evening to mark the first anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
St Mel's Cathedral in Longford Town will play host to the event titled 'Justice for Ukraine' at 6pm.
Those attending will be treated to an evening of music, dance, photography and art, and will also hear the story of how one refugee escaped one of the locations where Russian Forces are accused of killing civilians.
The Main Street Singers, a choir made up of Ukrainians living on Main Street in Longford, Irish dancers, and a local children's choir will also be taking part.
