The father of a five year old girl who died in a house fire in 2011 says he doesn't feel justice has been served in relation to a sentence served by the man who started the fire.
Richard Connolly's daughter Mari died in the fire in her father's house in Boyle after the house was set alight by John Lynch who then had an address at Church View, but was originally from Sligo.
Lynch was subsequently found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to 13 years in prison, as well as two other 8 years sentences for arson m and serious injuries caused to Richard Connolly who fell from the roof that night.
He was freed from Loughan House open prison in Cavan last week after serving 9 of the 13 year sentence.
Richard Connolly says the release has upset his family and Mari's two sisters who survived the fire on the night.
